Itajime Shibori or Clamp dye technique along with Shibori on the edges makes this piece a rich textile. To enrich it further pashmina base is used to back line the textile which further increases the longivity of the textile

This wood resist needs to be placed on both sides of the folded cloth and then is held together tightly with a clamp. This piece has been clamped, dyed and block printed
