This year’s unique collection will feature natural fabrics in soft and soothing hues with an eclectic mix of sarees, kurtas, tunics, kaftans, open-jackets, stitched and unstitched sets, stoles and dupattas, created using traditional art forms such as Kantha, Shibori, Jamdani, Hand block Printing, Patchwork, Batik & more.

Weavers Studiohas been a part of this gala affair for last one decade. This time we will be presenting our niftily assembled, eclectic collection specially curated for Hyderabad. From the lightest of muslins, the fine kantha embroidered cottons & silks, the woven motifs of baluchars, the intricate hand woven jamdanis, the exquisite revival embroideries inspired by museum collections, the vibrant block prints, the natural indigo dyed shibori textiles and the freedom fabric Khadi –you will get them under one roof!
Set up on 7 December, 1993 in Kolkatawith the mission statement “Use as many hands as possible”, Weavers Studio, has always been associated with exclusive hand spun, hand woven and hand crafted textiles.
Young women from different stratas of society are employed and trained in the language and aesthetics of our rich textile heritage. Today, Weavers Studio, creates high quality Indian handcrafted wearable textiles and is dedicated towards working at the grassroot level with craftspersons promoting ecologically sustainable, environment friendly and cruelty free, handmade, natural textiles.
Weavers Studio is a space where art merges with craft. We create a mélange of modern and ancient wearable and decorative masterpieces.Our collection comprises of specialized fabrics, stoles, scarves, shawls, patch scrolls, art textiles, sarees and garments. The textiles are handcrafted by both men & women crafts persons using varied techniques of hand block printing, screen printing, roller textures, stencils, sprays, hand paint, surface ornamentation, hand embroidery, hand weaving, value addition such as batik, shibori, appliqué, felting, tribal embroidery and more!
