Set up on December 7, 1993 in Kolkata with the mission statement “Use as many hands as possible”, Weavers Studio has always been associated with exclusive hand-spun, hand-woven and hand-crafted textiles. The brand is dedicated towards working at the grassroot level with crafts persons promoting ecologically sustainable, environment friendly and cruelty free, handmade, natural textiles. All of the textiles at WS are handcrafted by men and women crafts persons using varied techniques of hand block printing, screen printing, roller textures, stencils, sprays, hand paint, surface ornamentation, hand embroidery, hand weaving, value addition such as batik, shibori, appliqué, felting, tribal embroidery and more!
