Batik is a process of decorating cloth by covering a part of it with a coat of wax and then dyeing the cloth. You will find different patterns in the palla of the saree.

The art of Batik is three-stage technique of resist dyeing applied to ​the cloth​- waxing, dyeing, and de-waxing or removing of the wax.
